Recall those news accounts a couple of weeks ago about a 21-year-old woman being raped at UC Santa Cruz in the middle of the day along a campus path? She’s admitted the whole thing was a hoax, campus police tell the Santa Cruz Sentinel this morning. The DA will now decide whether to file criminal charges against her for making a false report.
