Here’s the best kind of Oakland crime story—a fake one. That Amber Alert issued this morning has been lifted after police confirmed that a woman made up a story about her infant daughter being kidnapped. The man she accused heard that the cops were looking for him and called police. Bottom line: no kidnapping. Chronicle’s Henry Lee is on it.
