After bulldozing theater, developer to offer plaque to mark where it stood

How’s this for a table crumb? The developer who plans to demolish Pleasant Hill’s beloved domed art house cinema and put up a sporting goods store is making nice. SyWest, which plans to build a store for Dick’s Sporting Goods after leveling the 1960s landmark, says it will donate memorabilia from the movie house to the local historical society and . . . put up a plaque to mark the spot after the theater is reduced to rubble.
