Bill and Nadia Lockyer will try to reconcile; he withdraws divorce papers

Thursday, March 14, 2013

State Treasurer Bill Lockyer and his estranged wife, former Alameda County Supervisor Nadia Lockyer, have agreed to try and reconcile. A spokesman for the 71-year-old Lockyer says the treasurer withdrew divorce papers against his wife last week. He had filed for divorce last July, in the wake of the drug and sex scandal involving his wife, who earlier this  month completed a six-month rehab program for meth addiction in Orange County, where she’s lived since the couple separated. She faces criminal proceedings there for meth possession and child endangerment. AP;
