‘Downtown’ Pleasant Hill sold to mystery buyer

Thursday, March 14, 2013

Not often does an entire downtown go up for sale. But then Pleasant Hill’s “downtown” is really a shopping center made to look like a town, with curbs, streets and sidewalks (although, thankfully, no parking meters). Loja Real Estate just sold the retail center for $120 million, $20 million more than it paid in 2010, San Francisco Business Times says.

The buyer? That’s anyone’s guess. It’s being described only as “an account” advised by UBS Global Asset Management.
