Housing Authority mess:
With the embattled San Francisco Housing Authority director coming off medical leave and on a trajectory to exit quietly if he can stick it out to the end of April and qualify for a pension for life, the Chronicle has a (pay-walled) piece about the mess that is the agency’s finances. It’s supposed to run out of money in two months and have a deficit of $6.4 million by the end of the fiscal year in September.
