Residents in the area of Lake Merced got a chance to sound off the other night at an SF Public Utilities Commission workshop aimed at explaining what’s being done about the polluted—once glistening—urban lake that’s an environmental embarrassment. And from the sounds of it, they weren’t impressed. One attendee tells the Ocean Beach Bulletin: “This was supposed to be a workshop. Instead, they’re trying to pull the wool over our eyes to make us think things are getting done.”
