‘Linsanity,’ the Jeremy Lin film bio, debuts at CAAMFest tonight

Thursday, March 14, 2013

After winning rave reviews at Sundance in January, the Jeremy Lin film makes its Bay Area premier tonight at CAAMFest, aka Center for Asian American Media Fest, at the Castro Theatre at 7. For those not familiar with the backstory, its producers began pursuing the Palo Alto native for the film during his days playing college hoops at Harvard, and before his basketball rags-to-riches rise as Warriors benchwarmer to New York Knicks sensation, and, now, Houston Rockets point guard. Lest there be confusion, CAAMFest is the new moniker for the revamped former San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival.
