Move over LA—Bay Area has the most mega-commuters

Quick, which place do you associate with the worst (as in longest) commutes, LA or San Francisco? New Census data may surprise you. They show San Francisco and the Peninsula combined as having the nation’s highest percentage of mega-commuters, workers who travel at least 50 miles and 90 minutes one-way. Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana ranks fifth. Oh, and coming in at No. 2—Santa Clara County. Mercury News
