They show San Francisco and the Peninsula combined as having the nation’s highest percentage of mega-commuters, workers who travel at least 50 miles and 90 minutes one-way. Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana ranks fifth. Oh, and coming in at No. 2—Santa Clara County. Mercury News
