Oldest seafood restaurant in town—146 years and counting

Ever wonder what’s the oldest seafood restaurant in San Francisco? Answer, says Alex Bevk at Curbed SF: Mayes, at 1233 Polk Street. The pic on left is from 1953, although the restaurant has been around since 1867. It relocated after the 1906 earthquake.
