No suspects apparently in the weekend shooting that claimed the life of longtime former Oakland Tribune free-lance photographer Lionel “Ray” Fluker, 54. He was shot to death at a service station in East Oakland while on his way home from the gym Friday night. Police believe the gunshot may have been intended for a passenger in his car, who was listed in critical condition at a hospital. Fluker started as an unpaid intern and went on to free-lance for the Tribune for a dozen years, from 1995 to 2007. Oakland Tribune
