Ex-Raider assistant Randy Hanson facing prison for beer bottle assault

Remember former Raiders assistant Randy Hanson, who in 2009 accused former head coach Tom Cable of throwing him off a chair during a coaches’ meeting and breaking his jaw? He’s been found guilty of felony battery after hitting someone over the head with a beer bottle outside a Pismo Beach bar. His lawyer says he’ll move to reduce the charge to a misdemeanor when Hanson is sentenced June 10. As of now, he faces up to four years in prison. San Luis Obispo Tribune
