Having survived Chicago real estate mogul and media buffoon Sam Zell, staffers at the LA Times have gone into full-blown fear mode again as the newspaper, and other Tribune Co. papers, prepare to be sold off. At an in-house awards ceremony the other day, columnist Steve Lopez asked for a show of hands of how many would quit if The Times were bought by right-wing billionaires the Koch brothers and the hands of half the staff shot up, HuffPost Los Angeles says.
