Golden Gate Fields cancels its drunk fest aimed at young people

Guess horse-racing alone just doesn’t reel them in anymore. So much for Golden Gate Fields’ promotion aimed at young people to get as plastered as they want. The racetrack announced it’s canceling its “Bottomless Saturdays” $30 all-you-can-drink promotion after public pushback, saying it’s “not in business to upset anybody.” The Chronicle’s Matier & Ross blog about it.
