Not sure how much confidence this is meant to inspire, but that new batch of 192 bolts—that began to be installed, what, a couple of weeks ago?—are said to be OK so far. These aren’t the kind of bolts you pick up at the hardware store. They’re 9 to 17 feet long and have a 2 1/2 inch diameter. And yes, says the Chronicle, they came from the same Ohio company that produced all those faulty ones.
