Marin County turned out 87 percent of its electorate in the last election, tops in California, and next week a well-known local politician will show up at the Board of Supervisors’ Tuesday morning meeting to recognize the achievement. The Marin IJ says “Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom of Kent Woodlands” will present the supes with a state commendation.
