The San Francisco society matron, under fire for months for the turmoil at the Fine Arts Museums, where she’s board president, collects a Valentine from San Francisco Magazine, which notes she’s about to receive a local award. The piece calls the award from the arts commission and San Francisco art dealers a “public affirmation of her leadership.” It also notes that Mayor Ed Lee was “quoted approvingly in the press release announcing the award.”
For my money, the Chronicle gushes better. “Exotic plant” doesn’t hold a candle to “Dynamo Dede.”
