As the Warriors prepare to
stumble into play their remaining two games before the playoffs, Mark Jackson has struck the right motivational tone with his star point guard Stephen Curry. Here’s a snippet from what Curry told KNBR’s Eric Byrnes and Tom Tolbert the other day:
For me, as a point guard, he challenges me. Like you said, it’s in a respectful way, but if I’m not playing well he’ll say, ‘You better go out there and do this, or I’m going to be back in LA preaching full time . . . It’s up to you to save my job!’
