The we-want-to-believe Warriors put away tanking Portland 99-88 last night in the season finale to nail down the 6th seed in the playoffs. They’ll face 3rd seed Denver on the road in Game One Saturday, marking their first playoff appearance since the “We believe” 2007 season. Stephen Curry made four 3-point shots to give him 272 for the season and break Ray Allen’s record for most 3-pointers in a season. The other piece of good news in an otherwise lackluster game: Andrew Bogut was back in the lineup, bone bruise and all, and was impressive in flashes. Mercury News
