Warriors, without David Lee, run Nuggets out of Denver

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

Playing without David Lee, and in a place where visitors rarely win, last night was when the Warriors were supposed to fold. Instead, their playoff series with Denver is 1-1 after a spectacular 131-117 blowout in which: Stephen Curry scored 30 points with 13 assists, Harrison Barnes broke out with the game of his young career (while starting at power forward), and Jarrett Jack (starting), Klay Thompson, Andrew Bogut and Festus Ezeli, Carl Landry and everyone else was stellar. The Mercury News’ Tim Kawakami calls it Mark Jackson’s finest hour as a coach.
