No injuries when a maintenance truck crashed into a rail-grinder working inside the Transbay Tube about 2 a.m., but the result is a shutdown that’s left the commute on all four transbay lines a mess. They’re moving trains through on only one line while repairing about 380 feet of electric line on the other. BART’s hope: to restore full service by the evening commute. Mercury News; Chronicle
