How’s this for a blast from the past? Deborah Edgerly, the former city administrator fired by ex-mayor Ron Dellums after she was accused of tipping a relative to an impending police raid, and who later lost a wrongful termination lawsuit, is back at City Hall—sort of. She’s hired on as a consultant to SEIU Local 1021, which represents about 2,000 city workers. Her role: to review the city’s books, the Oakland Tribune says.
