Jerry Brown insider walks through the lobbyist’s revolving door

Elizabeth Ashford, 38, who was Jerry Brown’s chief deputy press secretary before leaving the administration in April, has opened her own public affairs and consultant’s shop in Sacramento. (She’d worked in the Arnold Schwarzenegger administration and for oil giant BP earlier.) Capitol Alert says she declined to say who her clients are, except to say they’re involved in climate change and transportation.
