The longtime congresswoman from Petaluma who retired last year after 10 terms has a new gig—at least for this week. She’s one of six ex-members of Congress taking testimony for a UFO conspiracy theory group at a public hearing in D. C. on what the government knows about extraterrestrial life, Political Blotter says. From the hearing’s website:
“The Citizen Hearing on Disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race will attempt to accomplish what the Congress has failed to do for forty-five years – seek out the facts surrounding the most important issue of this or any other time.”
