Warriors overrun in San Antonio after blowing huge lead

Monday, May 6, 2013

Some lousy traditions just won’t die. The Warriors spewed a 16-point lead in the final four minutes of regulation and ended up losing at San Antonio 129-127 in double overtime tonight. Their winless streak on the Spurs’ court remains intact, from 1997. Next try: Wednesday night in Game 2 of the playoff series.

Small consolation department: Stephen Curry played all 58 minutes and scored 44 points. Chronicle; Mercury News
