After big stink, Oakland police HQ finally reopens

In case you wondered, Oakland’s police headquarters—closed since last Tuesday after a toilet flooded overnight on the third floor—finally reopened this morning. It was supposed to be a 24-hour thing, and they did let people back in the next day but quickly shut things down after folks complained of odor and eye and throat irritation. Oakland Tribune
