Bryan Stow’s insurance says no to more rehab; he’s sent home to Santa Cruz

More than two years after being beaten nearly to death by thugs outside the Giants’ season opener at Dodger Stadium, Bryan Stow is back home in Santa Cruz. But it sounds better than it is, apparently. His insurance has pulled the plug on the live-in care facility where he was being treated in Bakersfield, and in an updated entry on their blog, the family says it’s struggling mightily to care for someone who continues to need round-the-clock care.
