Finger Lady scams again and is apparently headed back to the slammer

The Chili Finger Lady is going back to jail, apparently. Anna Ayala, 47, who made headlines in 2005 after planting a severed finger acquired from the victim of an industrial accident in a bowl of chili at a Wendy’s in San Jose and then tried to sue the restaurant, is expected to be sent to prison for another scam when sentenced in September.

This time it’s for falsely accusing an innocent man of shooting her grown son. He accidentally shot himself but needed an alibi since he’s a convicted burglar who wasn’t supposed to have a gun. Ayala this week pleaded no contest. Chronicle
