Making a somewhat rare appearance in the state capital to push his book at Sacramento State University, Gavin Newsom today joked about the guff he’s taken for being a guest at Sean Parker’s lavish (and environmentally-challenged) Big Sur wedding June 1. Afterward, he sidestepped a reporter’s question about the wedding’s environmental impact. From Capitol Report:
"There's a lot of dust flying in the air around the controversy surrounding Sean Parker's wedding - coming from most people who weren't invited," Newsom quipped.
