As Fourth of July dawns, no breakthrough in BART strike negotiations

Wednesday, July 3, 2013

Talks between BART and union representatives wrapped up around 11 o’clock tonight with no agreement to end the strike that has crippled Bay Area transportation for three days. Negotiations were to resume Thursday morning, but some involved in the talks said that even if an agreement were reached immediately it would be unlikely that trains could resume rolling until after the Fourth of July holiday.
