Surprise, surprise. The Board of Supervisors has made permanent that temporary stick-it-to-the-tourists botanical garden fee imposed in 2010. It costs up to $7 for people who live outside San Francisco to visit the botanical garden in Golden Gate Park, which remains free to city residents. Bay City News Service
