National Transportation Safety Board chairwoman Deborah Hersman tells reporters this morning that the aim is to clear the crash debris from Runway 28-L at SFO by the end of the week, although she cautioned that may be optimistic. Also, overnight two of the four pilots of Asiana Airlines Flight 214 were interviewed and the parents of the two teenaged girls who died in the crash arrived from China. A news conference is scheduled for this afternoon, the Mercury News says.
