Pilot’s eye view of a Lufthansa A380 approach and landing at SFO

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

In the aftermath of the Asiana
Airlines Flight 214 tragedy, maybe you’ve wondered what it’s like for the countless SFO landings that go right. This video from Pilots Eye TV takes you into the cockpit of a Lufthansa A380 during an approach and landing—this one on Runway 28R. [Hat tip: Brian Sumers at the Torrance Daily Breeze, who posted the clip at the newspaper’s LA Aviation blog.]

Aside: When in San Francisco, it appears this cockpit crew likes to hang out at the Cliff House.
