Monday, July 29, 2013

A group determined to stop the sale of Berkeley's post office set up tents Saturday night on the steps of the building. Photo: Ted FriedmanThose tents and protest signs in front of Berkeley’s main post office building, which USPS is selling off—along with a bizillion other post offices elsewhere—are aimed at getting the postal service to change its mind. The photo is by Ted Friedman for Berkeleyside, which blogs about it.
