KTVU management’s silence about how the fake pilot names fiasco originated continues to prolong its PR agony. The latest nugget has to do with how the station managed to at least save itself the embarrassment of pronouncing one of the names—”Fuk”—as an obscenity. Turns out an editor with a Chinese American surname was consulted before anchor Tori Campbell read it on-air, the Chronicle says.
