Labor Day Bay Bridge opening? Feds give blessing to ‘temporary fix’

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Federal officials have now come aboard in support of a temporary fix to the Bay Bridge eastern span’s bolt problems, raising the possibility that the $6.3 billion span could open after the Labor Day weekend after all.
