PBS NewsHour splits the baby; Ifill, Woodruff named co-anchors

PBS NewsHour’s long on-air try-out to replace Jim Lehrer as host (he stepped aside back in June, 2011) has officially ended. Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff today were named co-anchors. Each will also hold managing editor titles. Below them, Jeffrey Brown, Ray Suarez and Margaret Warner were named chief correspondents; Hari Sreenivasan senior correspondent.
